Ships for the Republic of Germany

When the German High Seas Fleet was intrened at Scappa Flow, the German commander decided not scuttle ships.  So in return, Germany received a total of six dreadnaughts and 4 pre-dreadnaughts.  The Treaty of Versiales is less strict.  Germany is allowed to replace any battleships more than 20 years old with a new battleship with a standard ton not exceeding 25,000 tons, a full load of 30,000 and 14" main guns.
